Charity Shops

We have a charity shop in Bank Street, Herne Bay packed with pre-loved items donated by our many generous supporters.

Our shop is led by a volunteer shop manager and an amazing team of volunteers, but there is always room for more hands, so if you are keen to volunteer for our Herne Bay shop or the sorting areas, find out more and complete your volunteer application form.

Inside our shop you will find a variety of great quality donated goods including new and preloved women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, books, memorabilia, and household items. The profits raised from our charity shop support people living with disabilities across all our sites in Kent.

Current Opening Hours

Our Herne Bay shop is currently open:

Monday – 9.30am – 4pm
Tuesday – 9.30am – 4pm
Wednesday – 9.30am – 1.30pm
Thursday – 9.30am – 1.30pm
Friday – 9.30am – 4pm
Saturday – Closed
Sunday – Closed

You can donate the following

• Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing
• Accessories including shoes, belts, handbags and jewellery
• Quality home ware
• Books, CDs and DVDs
• Toys, games, jigsaws

We cannot accept the following:

• Any electrical items
• Furniture
• Dirty, stained or broken items
• Duvets or pillows

Donate your items

We accept donations at our site in Herne every Tuesday between 9.30am and 11am, Please phone to book your slot. Call 01227 373292.

You can now also donate your items directly to our charity shop in Herne Bay, Bank St, CT6 5EY . These items will then get sorted and prepped before selling.
