Partnership on and off the field

Strode Park Foundation has been announced as Herne Bay Football Club’s charity partner for the next two seasons.

Strode Park kicked off their partnership campaign with the club by attending the last game of the season against Chichester City on Saturday 27 April for a fundraising day.

Strode Park Foundation Director of Fundraising and Communications, Karen Jeal, said: “We are beyond thrilled to be Herne Bay Football Club’s chosen charity for the next two seasons. Strode Park Foundation has deep roots in Herne Bay and so does the club, so it was a perfect partnership to be able to support each other on and off the field. We wish the lads the best of luck in the league next season. C’mon the Bay!”

The partnership will include Strode Park’s logo on the shirts, regular features in the programme and online and with fundraising days throughout the season.

The club is proud to have a fully accessible ground.

Herne Bay Football Club Vice-Chairman, John Bathurst, added: “I think everyone can see the progress that the club has been making and we are delighted to extend this further with our charity partnership and embrace the excellent services that the Strode Park Foundation provides to our local community.”
