Strode Park House is a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent.
The home is registered for 55 beds, offering a relaxed homely environment for 40 permanent residents and up to 15 guests who come on a short term basis for neuro-rehabilitation and respite care.

Bespoke care
Care is tailored to each individual’s needs with their aspirations and values at the forefront of any support they receive. Our team of friendly and highly trained nurses and carers is equipped to meet a very high level of care needs, assisting residents to live life the way they choose.

In addition to the nursing and residential care offered, part of the home is a specialised neurorehabilitation unit led by a multidisciplinary team of therapists including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.

We also have a GP who holds a weekly clinic in the home which all residents can access.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation
Strode Park House combines all the magic of a period property with contemporary ‘award winning’ accommodation in the form of a new 15 bedded wing. The home offers a choice of single bedrooms, some with ensuite facilities, overhead electric hoist systems and flat screen televisions.
There are large communal lounges, dining areas, activities rooms and 14 acres of beautiful grounds for residents to relax and enjoy pursuing hobbies and other social activities. Visitors are welcome at anytime.

Leisure and social activities
Our Activities Co-ordinator organises a daily programme of activities which residents are welcome to join in with at their leisure. A fleet of specially adapted vehicles is available for individual or group outings which are organised to meet residents wishes including:

  • Theatre and shows
  • Shopping trips
  • Day excursions to London, seaside towns and many other places
  • Restaurants, pubs and other social venues

All residents who live with us permanently have the opportunity of an annual holiday away from Strode Park included in the cost of their fees.

Our catering team are proud to offer good home cooked food with a choice of menus daily and dishes produced from locally sourced suppliers. All dietary requirements are catered for and our catering team are only too happy to discuss any personal requirements.

Residents’ views are important to us
Residents hold their own monthly meetings to discuss various matters regarding the home. A residents’ representative is appointed to liaise with staff and ensure any issues raised are resolved at the earliest opportunity.
The Foundation employs a Residents’ Advocate to assist residents with any personal matters.
