Be a Strode Park Challenge Hero.

If you weren’t lucky enough to gain a place in the 2024 London Marathon, fear not. You can now run (or walk) the virtual marathon in a way that suits you on the same day – Sunday 21 April – and still receive a London Marathon finishers medal and t-shirt. You’ll also get audio support and route tracking on the official app, powered by TCS.

This makes it an inclusive option for those who might not have considered taking on a 26.2 miles / 42.1km marathon before. Join Team Strode Park and tick the marathon off your bucket list. You can take part on your own or as a team. Minimum age to take part is 18.

We ask that you pay £15 towards your place (we’ll pay the other £15) and raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. You can complete the challenge on Sunday 21 April 2024 any where or any way you wish as long as it’s done within 00:00:00 to 23:59:59.

How we will support you

We’re here to provide vital support and care to children, young people and adults with disabilities and every penny you raise will help us achieve this. Everyone who completes this challenge for Strode Park will receive:

1. A Challenge hero t-shirt for your training and to wear on the day.
2. Fundraising materials and downloadable fundraising templates to help boost your fundraising
3. A Challenge Hero water bottle
4. We’ll have a dedicated WhatsApp group for all participants to share training and support each other through their marathon journeys.
