We were delighted that Ken Shewring, Trainee Nursing Associate at Strode Park House, was interviewed this week by Kent County Council to help raise the profile of apprenticeships in Adult Social Care.
Ken spoke about his experience as an apprentice and the valuable opportunities that apprenticeships provide for developing skills and knowledge.
Ken shared:
“The course has been challenging at times – in waking the old brain up again! But at the same time, the things I have learnt and seen on my journey, I won’t forget in a hurry. Away from the classroom environment and on placement, I have met some amazing people, both patients and nursing staff.”
Strode Park Foundation is committed to supporting apprentices and investing in the future of Adult Social Care through high-quality training and development opportunities.
We wish Ken, and all of our apprentices, every success as they continue their training.
