Lord Mayor of Canterbury Charity Partnership of the Year

A huge thank you to Jean Butcher and Di Baldock for their wonderful support for Strode Park Foundation during their time as Lord Mayor of Canterbury and Lady Mayoress in 2024 and 2025.

It was a tremendous honour to be chosen as your Charity Partner of the Year, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with you. We are especially grateful for your support at our events, your efforts in raising awareness of our work, and of course, for the memorable Easter Bunny appearance!”

The incredible donation of £13,793 will directly support people with disabilities who rely on our care, making a real difference in helping them achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

“We came as a double act and we go out together,” Jean said, as she asked Di to come and stand with her at the annual council meeting on Thursday 15th May, before going on to thank the many people who helped make her two years in office such a success.
