Strode Park Foundation is looking for amazing volunteers like you! With exciting events coming up, a thriving charity shop in Herne Bay, and plenty of ways to get involved, there has never been a better time to join our volunteer team.

If you would like to meet new people, gain confidence, improve your wellbeing, and make 2026 a more rewarding year, volunteering in Strode Park Foundation’s charity shop could be just what you are looking for. Whether you can spare a few hours each week or prefer to help on an ad-hoc basis and cover when needed, your time will make a huge difference to the work of Strode Park Foundation.

At Strode Park Foundation’s charity shop in Herne Bay, you will always be working alongside at least one other volunteer, making it a lovely way to meet like-minded people and enjoy being part of a friendly, supportive team. The charity is fortunate to have a welcoming group of dedicated volunteers already, and it would be wonderful for you to join them.

June, a volunteer, said, “I’ve only just started volunteering in the charity shop and in the steaming room, but I already love it. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, and it feels great knowing that the work we do here is helping to support the residents with disabilities.”

By volunteering at Strode Park Foundation’s charity shop, you will be directly helping the charity raise vital funds, enabling it to continue providing essential support and services to people with disabilities.
