EyeHarp at Strode Park House

At Strode Park House, we are always looking for innovative ways to support our residents with disabilities to do amazing things, and EyeHarp is a perfect example.

EyeHarp is a groundbreaking software that allows people with disabilities to create music using only their eyes. Jamie, from our Strode Park House Activities team, has been learning the programme and guiding our residents through its exciting possibilities.

Jamie said, “As I continue my training with the Eyeharp team, it’s fantastic to have the opportunity to give people the ability to create music with their eyes and see the pleasure that it gives to themselves and their peers.”

When resident Adrian was asked if he enjoyed EyeHarp, he nodded and gave a big thumbs up!

Jamie recently spoke to Dominic King at BBC Radio Kent about our use of EyeHarp. He talked about the history of the software, how he first discovered it, and how it gives back people the ability to create.

We are proud to be empowering our residents with creative tools to express themselves in new and exciting ways.
