Kara Carey

I have worked for Strode Park Foundation since February 2019. I started working within the Admin team for Strode Park House, was then able to move to the Payroll department, where I have almost 10 years’ experience.

In December 2022 I then took over the role as the Chief Executive’s Personal Assistant where my duties include supporting the Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees.

This is the first time I have worked within the charity sector and am thoroughly enjoying my time here at the Foundation.

I enjoy long walks with my dog, reading and live music. In my spare time I volunteer for Coastguard Search and Rescue and joined the Herne Bay team two years ago.
