Fundraising, Communications & Events Manager
About the Role

If so, we are seeking to appoint a passionate and proactive Fundraising, Communications and Events Manager for our charity – Strode Park Foundation, to promote and develop support for our charitable efforts.
Strode Park Foundation, established 1946, is an independent voluntary organisation working to provide high quality services to meet the changing and individual needs of young people and adults with disabilities.
Job Opportunity
As our Fundraising, Communications and Events Manager you will work in our small but supportive and collaborative team to:
· Manage fundraising activity which will include individual giving, major donors, trusts and foundations and legacies.
· Lead on promotional and marketing activity and all internal and external engagement communications.
· Provide leadership and clear direction to the Fundraising and Communications Team.
· Develop and execute a fundraising strategy that takes into account SPF’s values.
· Diversify sources of income by focusing on maximizing grants and commercial opportunities.
This full-time, permanent role is for 35 hours per week, however, working hours will be very much dependent on the needs of the role. Whilst an office presence will be required, it is a realistic expectation that there will also be some evening and weekend working, when necessary.

Essential Skills
Our ideal Fundraising, Communications and Events Manager will:
· Have strong experience in fundraising, grant applications and written communications.
· Be a creative and innovative written and verbal communicator, able to write persuasive proposals, network effectively and champion the charity to a wide range of people.
· Inspire individuals to want to support Strode Park Foundation.
· Be an enabling, motivational and engaging manager, with a real energy and passion for improving the lives of vulnerable people.
· Hold a valid driving licence.
· Be able to oversee Fundraising and Communications on social media platforms, with an ability to engage effectively with those audiences.
