Facilities Officer (Ref: 22-045 SPH)

Do you have a positive outlook, a warm and cheerful demeanour, and the ability to relate to people at all levels? If the answer to all of these questions is a ‘yes’, we are looking for 2 personable and hands-on Facilities Officers to join our team, based at Strode Park House in Herne Bay.

We’re looking for someone who is able to multi-task with ease, is customer focused, resilient, proactive and has attention to detail. You’ll need to be flexible, able to work on your own initiative, and have great communication skills to succeed in this role.

Our ideal candidate has a range of skills, including great attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of staff within the organisation. A Facilities Officer should be able to manage the company’s services within budget constraints and according to the level of expectation set by the company/organisation. We are looking for skills such as:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Time management skills for managing projects
  • Understanding of facilities maintenance
  • Qualifications in health and safety or facilities management
  • Sound problem-solving skills and a willingness to be available after-hours when required
