Care & Support Worker (Ref: 22-016LCS)

You will provide personal care, physical and social support to our residents in our Coach House Residential Home so that they can achieve an appropriate level of independence, well-being and choice in line with their aspirations and abilities.

This team falls within our wider Lifestyles Community Services department.

You will fully participate in ensuring the individuals gain confidence and self esteem. You will also support the aims and objectives of the Foundation and play a full and active part in the works of our charity so that at all times this post, either directly or indirectly, is providing the highest standard of care to people who use our services.

Our ideal candidate has the following:

  • Level 2 qualification in Health and Social care or a willingness to work towards it within 12 months of being in post
  • Must be able to meet the working pattern demanded by the post

The following are desirable but not essential criteria:

  • A strong interest in working in Adult care services and a desire to make a difference.
  • A clean driving license and access to own vehicle or willingness to drive company vehicles in order to assist service users in the community by taking them shopping, day outings and to GP/Dentist appointments.

Our services provide care on a 24 hour basis, 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays. This means we need reliable and flexible staff working within our service. You may be required to work within the wider LCS department to ensure we fully meet our clients’ needs.
