Laundry Assistant - Strode Park House

Would you like to make a real difference behind the scenes in a care setting? We are looking for a reliable and caring Laundry Assistant to join our team at Strode Park House and help ensure residents’ clothing and linen are cleaned, cared for and returned to a high standard.

This is an important role within our housekeeping team, helping us provide a safe, comfortable and dignified environment for adults with disabilities and complex needs. You will handle laundry duties, support infection control standards, and take pride in delivering a quality service that supports residents’ wellbeing.

You will work 15 hours per week across 3 x 5-hour shifts on a rota basis over a 7 day period, to meet the needs of the service, including flexibility for weekends and the ability to support other sites in Canterbury and Faversham when required. We offer the hourly rate of £12.71.

We would love to hear from candidates who are practical, dependable, have a keen eye for detail, and are motivated to support people in an adult care environment.

We are looking for individuals who really wants to enhance the lives of young people with physical and complex health needs. Shifts will either be contracted for 25 hours per week (part time) or 37.5 (full time).
