Another fantastic new act for Theatre in the Park this year, may we introduce The Stevie Wonder Experience!

We spoke to the band about what we can expect on the night…

What are you looking forward to about your Theatre in the Park show?

"The Stevie live show works perfectly for outdoor events - the 9-piece line-up creates a brilliant sound and the music is infectious so there's always a great atmosphere when we perform. All the guys in the band love performing at festivals and we're looking forward to the Theatre in the Park show being the best one yet!"

What else can our audience expect from the night?

"The Stevie Wonder Experience show is based on Stevie Wonder's current live show - which is absolutely amazing. The set list features all of his biggest hits, including Superstition, Sir Duke, Isn't She Lovely, Signed Sealed Delivered (I'm Yours), I Just Called To Say I Love You, I Wish and lots more! The musicians in the band really are exceptional - James Birt our drummer was voted 'UK Young Drummer Of The Year' when he was 16 and he is one of the best drummers you'll hear anywhere. The role of Stevie is covered by the supremely talented Zion Wilson. Zion moved to the UK from Bermuda around 10 years ago and has become a highly sought after vocalist - appearing in theatre shows, on BBC TV as well as with this years UK Eurovision entry! He absolutely smashes the role of Stevie - a highlight is his vocal performance on Lately."

Do you have any other shows coming up that the Theatre in the Park audience could come see you at?

"We've actually just finished a UK venue tour and hope to be back out in the Autumn and Spring 2020. Our summer is taken up with private events - we'll add public events to our Facebook page so anyone wanting to catch the band again can see dates."
