Herne Charity Shop
We will be doing a phased reopening of our Herne Bay Charity Shop next week.
From Monday 15 June we will be open Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9.30am -1.30pm. We have put in place strict social distancing and hygiene measures, so ask that you bear with us as we settle back into things and keep everyone as safe as possible.
No donations will be accepted at the shop. Donations can be brought to the main site in Herne by appointment only. We will be accepting donations in this way from Monday 22 June. More information about this new donating system will be shared as soon as possible.
Please do bear with us while we put these measures in place, because all items are having to be quarantined for 72 hours before being processed. When we are able to start taking these donations we ask for only suitable good quality items for sale and we’re afraid we don’t accept furniture or electrical items. If we are overwhelmed with donations we may have to open and close our appointment system while we get on top of processing the items.
We rely entirely on volunteers for the whole process from the sorting to it arriving and being sold in the shop. We thank you for your patience in advance with this. If you would like to volunteer some time, please do get in touch – you can email firstname.lastname@example.org
Unfortunately our Tankerton shop will remain closed at the current time.
