Sunday 10th May 2020 (9:30am - 2:30pm)
Strode Park Foundation’s Chicken Run is back for its third year on Sunday 10 May 2020.
Get a spring in your step and join our flock of chicken runners as you pace the promenade for a 5k along Herne Bay seafront to Studd Hill and back. And if you’re feeling braver, new for 2020 is a 10k which takes you further along to Tankerton slopes and back again to the pier.
Adult entry includes a chicken costume and a medal and we have an early bird rate of £16 until 12 January. Child entry will include a medal, and although no costume we’re encouraging you to make your own and there will be a prize for the best. We’re also welcoming returning chickens – so if you ran in 2018 or 2019 and you already have your outfit then you can sign up for just £10.
We’ll have a warm up as you prepare for your 5k or 10k route.
The Chicken Run is an event for everyone. You can walk, run, jump or skip along with your friends, family, colleagues or neighbours. Buggies, wheelchairs are all welcome to join in the fun.
