Always an extremely popular event, The Country Superstars are once again bringing their ‘Night in Nashville’ show to Theatre in the Park for a fantastic evening of musical entertainment, accompanied by a delicious hog roast.

We spoke to host and Dolly Parton impersonator Sarah Jayne about what goes on in the show and the other events that they have coming up this year…

What are you looking forward to about your Theatre in the Park show?

“Such a fabulous venue, year after year we have had a full house and wonderful weather in this unique setting. We are looking forward to plenty of dancing and making more memories with friends and guests of Strode Park.”

What else can our audience expect from the night?

“The Country Superstars hosted by myself as Dolly Parton and my co-host Andy Crust impersonate eleven country stars and celebrate country music with our fabulous band The Tennessee Allstars. We will be showcasing various acts including Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Kenny Rogers John Denver and this year we are excited to also be introducing Shania Twain as an addition to the line-up. There will be over two hours of music, more than forty hits to take you back in time with the history of the icons that still live on. Various souvenirs will also be available to take home from the show so you can remember your evening with Dolly Parton and the Country Superstars!”

Do you have any other shows coming up that the Theatre in the Park audience could come see you at?

“We are debuting at The Echo Arena in Liverpool and visiting The Central Theatre Chatham on the 3rd of October and the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone on the 20th of September 2019.Also, we have two weekend breaks: Three nights at the Burstin, Folkestone on June 28th 2019 and Mill Rythe, Hayling Island on March 20th, also for three nights.”
