We are thrilled to announce that Martin Rafferty has been selected to take the place allocated to us in the 2019 London Marathon.

After a short campaign we received several worthy applications to run on our behalf. These were narrowed down to a final two which went into a draw at the end of last month with Martin's name being pulled out of the hat by the Senior Management Team.

Martin says:

"I chose to put myself forward for the marathon as one of my personal goals, to push me to the limit, to see if 'I can' just like the residents of Strode Park push themselves everyday. I want to run for people that inspire me and that can make me challenge myself to work harder"

This is a wonderful opportunity for both Martin and the charity and we wish him all the best in his training and fundraising endeavours.
