“I have over 20 years’ varied experience as a Building Surveyor and Architectural Designer in London and Kent, including over eight years of running my own practice. I started my career in an architectural practice where the bulk of the work was for charitable organisations, particularly the refurbishment of almshouses and care homes.

I have a particular interest in supporting charities for people with disabilities as I have a younger brother with MLD (Metachromatic Leukodystrophy), a genetic, neurodegenerative disease. I am also involved in fundraising for the MLD Support Association UK.

I have lived in Herne for over 11 years and am married with two sons.”
