35 Hours per week working a variety of shifts over a seven day period including evening and weekend work, £8.16 per hour with an additional 20p per hour for NVQ/Diploma Care Qualification, 28 days holiday Pro Rata.

Strode Park House is a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent. We are a nursing and residential home offering both long and short-term care for adults aged 18 and upwards.

As a Strode Park Lead Carer, you will be responsible for supervising and participating in the delivery of care and leading the team to ensure a person centred approach is delivered to all our guests. You’ll play a huge part in ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered in the home, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed and the service user’s care is regularly evaluated and implemented. You will provide sound, strong leadership for care staff and work effectively with colleagues to ensure guest’s needs are met.

You’ll need the following skills and qualities:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care is desirable and/or any additional qualifications in leading a team would also be advantageous.
  • Ability to adhere to professional standards and legislations in relation to CQC.
  • A strong interest in working in Adult care service and desire to make a difference.
  • Have an ability to clearly and appropriately communicate both orally and in written form with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be enthusiastic, caring, friendly and compassionate.
  • A driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles is desirable.
