Respite Care at Strode Park
Strode park provides a fantastic respite care and holiday destination, just a short distance from the seaside towns of Herne Bay and Whitstable and the lively Cathedral City of Canterbury. We have two locations for respite care at Strode Park depending on your needs and wishes.
Strode Park House offers respite places suitable for adults aged 18 years upwards with 24 hour nursing care.
The Coach House - an excellent rated service designed for young adults disabilities 17-35 years.
The Coach House is a lovely period building that was converted in 1988 to create a residential and respite centre for young adults with disabilities. Our hotel facilities can cater for up to nine respite care or holiday guests at any time and is ideal for group bookings. We are proud to have achieved the top three start 'excellent' rating from the Care Quality Commission.
Guests will be welcomed by Zoe Lee, Manager of the Coach House and her fun loving team who will provide support and advice to ensure the stay is enjoyable and safe. Rooms can be booked on an individual or group basis and personal care is available if people need it.
Accommodation
The accommodation includes comfortable single bedrooms, a communal dining room and spacious lounge equipped with computers and a theatre style TV.
