Support Workers

(Platters Farm Lodge, Medway)

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, caring, reliable individuals to join our highly motivated team to provide support and promote independence to people who have experienced; ill health, disability, or lost confidence to lead independent lives.

Experience of working within rehabilitation, respite, dementia and day service settings is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided to successful applicants.

You must be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative to a high standard. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

You must have a Diploma/NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards the award within twelve months of being in post. 

Full Driving Licence is preferred

We offer an hourly rate of pay at £7.13 per hour social or £7.40 per hour unsocial. 

Working hours: 35 Hours per week.  Working hours are to be worked on a 24 hour rota which includes weekends and evenings.

Care Assistant

(Redwalls Canterbury)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring, reliable individuals to work with young adults with physical and learning disabilities.

Successful candidates will be expected to empower our young residents to engage in a range of activities of their choice and provide appropriate physical and personal care throughout the day and night.

We are looking for motivated and committed individuals who must be able to work as part of a team and where necessary, on your own initiative to a high standard. Good interpersonal skills and communication are essential.

Candidates should be able to work fully flexible hours on a shift basis: Day shifts are 8:00am until 08:00pm and flexible to cover night shifts 08:00pm until 08:00am

Proven experience within a care environment is desirable however full training is provided to successful applicants.

You must have an NVQ/Diploma 2 in care or be willing to work towards the award.

We offer an hourly rate of pay from £6.63 per hour Social, £6.90 per hour Unsocial. 

Working hours: 36 hours per week, which includes days/nights and weekends.

Registered Nurse

Take the opportunity to nurse, where you can really make a difference, within our 56 bedded resource and rehabilitation centre supporting people with disabilities.

You will be able to offer a person centred approach to independence, well being and choice whilst every hour of your working day will be stretching and fulfilling.

  • You must have at least 2 years relevant experience
  • Typically earning £27k p.a. for a 37.5 hour week with opportunities to earn more.

Carers – Canterbury – Footprints

You must be able to work as part of a close knit team or on your own initiative to a high standard. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. We are looking for motivated and committed individuals, with a calm approach to support children with their social, emotional, physical needs.

Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting is desirable however full training will be provided to successful applicants.

Requirement: NVQ 3 in Children and Young People or be willing to work towards a Diploma 3 CYP within twelve months of being appointed.

We offer an hourly rate of pay at £6.73 per hour or £7.42 per hour with a Diploma 3 Qualification.

Working hours available: 31.5 hours per week, working days/nights and weekends.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, caring, reliable individuals with a desire to work with disabled adults at our residential service in Herne Bay.

You will be expected to empower adults or young people with disabilities to support their independence and social and physical well being within a sensitive and supportive environment.


You will assist in delivering activities to enable service users to maximise their capabilities.

Working hours: 39 hours per week, working days, nights and weekends.

Footprints is a residential and respite service for children with disabilities.

If you have an understanding of children with a range of complex disabilities and would like to assist and support our dedicated team of carers with our weekend and school holiday fun club at Footprints, Canterbury this may be the volunteering role for you…

The fun club is currently running from July to September, 11am to 3pm and it includes arts and crafts, music and lots of fun!!!
