Day Centre Support Worker

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Day Centre Support Worker to join our enthusiastic Care Worker team at Platters Farm Lodge, in Rainham.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right skills to get involved in a demanding service. You will be ensuring that the facilities at the Day Centre are fully utilised for the benefit of those using it’s services and to participate in encouraging clients/residents to attain and maintain independence, whilst respecting their autonomy.

Care Assistant

Redwalls, Canterbury

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring, reliable individuals to work with young adults with physical and learning disabilities.

Successful candidates will be expected to empower our young residents to;

  • Engage in a range of activities of their choice and provide appropriate physical and personal care throughout the day and night.
  • Candidates should be able to work fully flexible hours on a shift basis;
  • Day shift hours are worked between 8.00am until 8.00pm
  • Night shifts 08:00pm until 08:00am, for this post previous Medication Training would be an advantage
  • Working hours: 36 Hours per week, which includes weekends
  • Proven experience within a care environment is desirable however full training is provided to successful applicants
  • You must have an NVQ/Diploma 2 in care or be willing to work towards the award.
  • We offer an hourly rate of pay from £6.63 per hour Social £6.90 per hour Unsocial.  An additional enhanced is paid for the NVQ Qualification.

Lead Carer

If you are patient with excellent leadership skills, have the ability to support staff whilst they are undertaking their induction and ongoing development, the above post could be the one for you!

Community Carer

We operate a shift pattern for all Community Care Staff which allows you to work around personal commitments, the shifts are allocated within the specified times on a rolling two week rota:

Experience of working within rehabilitation, respite, dementia and day service settings is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided to successful applicants.

You must be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative to a high standard. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

You must have a Diploma/NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards the award within twelve months of being in post. 

  • Full Driving Licence is preferred

Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant you will show warmth and support to the residents, helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in your care. Your main responsibilities will be to provide a high level of care to our residents ensuring their wellbeing, giving personal care, maintaining a high level of hygiene, accurately recording observations in accordance with the resident’s conditions, informing the senior on duty of any changes and responding accordingly, serving meals and assisting our residents as necessary.

Children’s Residential Care Worker

You must have an NVQ 3 in Children and Young people or be willing to work towards the award and a current driving license.

We are looking for motivated and committed individuals with a calm approach. Experience of working with children and young people or in residential care setting is desirable, however full training will be provided to successful applicants.

We offer an hourly rate of pay at £6.73 per hour or £7.42 per hour with a diploma 3 qualification.
