Lead Carer (Senior Care Worker)
If you are patient, a good communicator/organiser, have the ability to support staff whilst they are undertaking their induction and ongoing development, the above post could be the one for you!
You will confidently be able to provide physical and social support to individuals so that they can achieve an appropriate level of independence and wellbeing in line with their aspirations and abilities.
In addition to this you will be responsible for:
- The induction and training of all new and existing staff to ensure they are able to deliver the service required.
- Be responsible for the support and supervision of all care staff.
- Pro-actively lead a team of dedicated care staff for a designated area of the home
Essential to the role is a Diploma/NVQ 3 in Care and current experience within a Senior Care Worker or Senior Support worker role.
Hourly rate of pay from £7.33 per hour to £7.94 per hour
An Enhancement of 20p per hour paid for relevant qualification
Hours: 37½ Hours per week (includes weekends).
The post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Working over all departments within Strode Park Foundation, providing care and encouraging independence to our service users.
Varied working patterns, to help you work around your commitments.
Salary £7.43 per hour Social, £7.73 Unsocial
Shifts available:
Strode Park House: 7.00am – 1.30 pm or 1.30 pm – 8.00 pm
ComCare: shifts/hours between 7.00 am – 10.30 pm
Coach House: 7.00 am – 3.00 pm or 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
Redwalls: between 7.30 am – 8.00 pm
Footprints: between 7.30am – 8.30 pm
