Project Spa!

Volunteers needed at Strode Park House

In Oct/Nov 2015, after a fantastic fundraising effort, the building work will finally start for our hydrotherapy spa at Strode Park House.

Whilst  this has been long awaited, the building works will cause a certain amount of upheaval with a main connecting corridor being demolished, so we will need extra help.

As the majority of our service users are in wheelchairs, they will need help in moving between the different ends of the building, also we will need help with setting up the dining areas, taking food/drink to service users and basic reception duties at weekends (mainly to let relatives in to the building). No phone answering required!

Volunteers will need to be DBS checked (provided by Strode Park Foundation) and be over 18yrs old.

We envisage the work will take about four weeks, so if you are able to give up any time during this project, please contact Paula Wainwright, Volunteer Coordinator on 01227 373292 or email
